MIAMI – Jorge A. Mestre has been appointed Co-Chair of the Minority Trial Lawyer Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation. The appointment recognizes his achievement as one of the nation’s leading litigators in his field.
The Minority Trial Lawyer Committee serves to support the careers and successes of minority attorneys by providing business development strategies and a network of contacts. The Committee facilitates discussion of the impact of race on the law and issues of racial bias in the courts and the profession. It also promotes programs to prepare minority students—from high school through law school—for careers in the law.
Mestre’s practice is focused exclusively on commercial litigation, including international arbitration and litigation. He has litigated domestic and international arbitration matters in both English and Spanish.
