MIAMI—Andres Rivero and Jorge Mestre will speak on two separate panels during the 2018 NAMWOLF Annual Meeting & Law Firm Expo in Chicago, Illinois, on September 28th. Rivero will speak on a panel entitled “Avoiding Pitfalls and Untangling Knots in Corporate Internal Investigations” and will discuss ways to avoid conflicts given the complex nature of internal investigations. Mestre will speak on the “International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation – Highlighting the Differences” panel about distinct practices regarding discovery and presenting evidence.

Rivero’s practice focuses exclusively on complex commercial litigation, including international arbitration and litigation. A former federal prosecutor, Rivero is a skilled trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in representing corporations and entrepreneurs in intellectual property disputes, antitrust and securities claims, and partnership and shareholder controversies.
Mestre’s practice focuses exclusively on commercial litigation and arbitration, including international arbitration and litigation. He has litigated domestic and international arbitration matters in both English and Spanish.
