MIAMI — Rivero Mestre LLP is pleased to announce that Amanda L. Fernandez has been named managing partner, marking a new chapter for the firm as it celebrates its 25th Anniversary.
“Amanda has been a substantial asset to our clients, culture, and growth since her start with the firm,” Jorge A. Mestre said. “Her promotion to managing partner is a direct reflection of her dedication to excellence and strong work ethic.”
Amanda focuses her legal practice on handling complex business matters, securities litigation, and cross-border disputes, representing foreign and domestic clients across industries. Her leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to client satisfaction have all played a pivotal role in the firm’s achievements.
“I am honored to take on the position of managing partner during this milestone year for the firm,” Amanda said. “I look forward to leading our exceptional team and contributing to the continued success of our firm.”
In addition to her new role as managing partner, Amanda was recently elected President-Elect of the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA), the largest voluntary bar association in Miami-Dade, underscoring her standing as a respected legal professional and a leader within the community.
Amanda also serves on the CABA Pro Bono board as its president and is active in The Florida Bar Business Law Section. Her community involvement extends to the Our Lady of Lourdes Academy (OLLA) Law Alumni Association, where she has served as a coach for OLLA’s mock trial team.
Amanda has been recognized for her legal work and leadership among several publications. She has been named a “Future Star” by Benchmark Litigation, received the “On the Rise” honor at Daily Business Review’s Florida Legal Awards, has been voted “Ones to Watch for Commercial Litigation” in Best Lawyers, has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” and has received the South Florida Business & Wealth Magazine’s Up & Comer Award.
She holds a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University.
