MIAMI—The ABA Section of International Law published an article written by Paula Aguila titled U.S. Supreme Court finds Puerto Rico not sovereign in the Latin America & Legal Developments.
The article discusses Puerto Rico v. Sanchez Valle S. Ct. 1863 (2016) and its major consequences in setting back the island’s legal status.
Aguila’s practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, including international litigation and arbitration, and white collar criminal defense.
