]]> MIAMI – Rivero Mestre successfully represented Colony Club Village Parc, LLC, in a dispute arising out of the financing of a condominium conversion in Orlando, Florida.  An investor in the project brought a $2 million claim against Colony Club alleging that it had breached a purported assignment contract. Jorge Mestre, Alicia Torres, and Charlie Whorton of Rivero Mestre obtained final summary judgment in Colony Club’s favor in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County before Judge John W. Thornton, Jr. The Court concluded that Colony Club did not breach the purported contract.
