]]> NEW YORK — M. Paula Aguila participated in a panel discussion sponsored by the Council on Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO) and the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). The purpose of the panel was to generate interest in the legal profession among students with ethnically diverse backgrounds.

CLEO was founded in 1968 as a non-profit project of the ABA Fund for Justice and Education to expand opportunities for minority and low-income students to attend law school.

The LCLD was founded in 2009 and is an organization of more than 200 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.
