]]> MIAMI — Andrés Rivero spoke on a panel at the NAMWOLF Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, Thursday, September 17, 2015. The panel, “Going after a foreign official: The DOJ rewrites its FCPA screenplay,” discussed how, more and more, prosecutors are coming up with creative ways of taking the FCPA fight to bribe takers by charging corrupt foreign officials under statutes such as the Travel Act and the Money Laundering Control Act (“MLCA”).
